OK, lets do the math. The Sing Off has contestants competing for a singing title, complete with a panel of three industry professionals as the judges. And America controls the votes. But, the show is still different than any other reality singing series weve seen before says The Sing Off host, Nick Lashey. Really?
What separates The Sing Off from other singing competition series is that the performances are all a cappella so there is no margin for error Lashey claims. And The Sing Off is just the competition hes aching to see.
What does the winner receive? An Epic Records/Sony Music recording contract. Not a bad deal for four night's work.

The Sing Off begins tonight and continues Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, with the finale scheduled for Monday, December 21st, beginning 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

Face did have a good performance that night! I don't like the system either... I don't think they should eliminate someone on the first show. Oh, and those "old ladies" are amazing!

I thought the way the show eliminated a group out of each four was CRAP!!! put against those old women who can't beatbox, the guys in the green [face?] would have beat them out if they were in the same group. Whomever thought of this system didn't give everyone a fair chance. As they were singing home, they used a different lead guy and he sounded great. Bring them back. No Fair.
