Seabiscuit - The Lost Documentary is an an extraordinary piece of horse racing history. This "lost" original documentary was made in 1939 by Seabiscut's owner, Charles Howard, in honor of Seabiscuit winning the coveted title of "Horse of the Year". You'll see Seabiscuit's birth, his early life at the stables, and Seabiscuit's first race where his fouth place4 finish earned him $50. Watch Charles Howard purchase Seabuscuit after a claiming race, and trainer Tom Smith put Seabuscuit through workouts. This action-packed film chronicles Seabuscuit's most thrilling races including the heart-stopping photo finish at the Santa Anita Handicap, and the legendary match race with War Admiral.
LMAO That is NOT Seabiscuit being born or as a foal. Beautiful shots of Hard Tack and Man O War however.

I own this film. It's authentic. the colt in the begainning isn't the biscuit as a colt but rather one of his foals. It's rather interesting should watch the whole movie sometime.

Just curious...how authentic do you think this film can be? Howard actually had video of his claimer? It's probably a great book, but is that the real Biscuit? Let me know.
