This is a quick demo of using EZDrummer in ACID to record a basic song. I have to admit the playing is sloppy due to the fact it is all just one take... Also brownie points for those who know the groove. I like ACID since it is very easy. I also use Guitar Rig as a standalone and EZDrummer as a VST instrument plugin to record the instruments.

  • hi jeffhamula, do you know if it is possible to record each drum on separate track?

  • @majinoce there is a setting to do that.... i now use reaper which does this by default. I would check it out - it is very easy to use that program and it's free to try.

  • I also downloaded reaper and they both play songs etc, just when i drag in the files, they dont play

  • I think you need to go into the midi settings and activate the midi input/outputs, then assign the ezdrummer to your track.

What I do is go inster soft synth on new track, then i select the toontrack (it doesn't call it ez drummer there) and it will set it up.

Let me know if that doesn't work - pm me.

  • Have any idea how to do multitrack recordings with ezdrummer so it sounds wayyyy better? I'm utterly confused after 5 hours of trying

  • try out REAPER - free download - killer application that competes with all the big boys. It automatically integrates. Are you asking how to make it variable? dynamics? changes? or sound quality? Not sure what you mean by way??? can you send me an mp3?

Then I went to this video, and in 40 seconds, you saved my life. For this I thank you. lol
