Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, the fact that he would save anyone is a testament to his love. he could have kickes us out like he did satan and the fallen angels and he would still have been loving and holy but he loved us to give us another chance in the god-man jesus christ. to repent and be able to fellowship with him.

He most definitely is, if He is indeed "love". He *created* christianity as we know it today, because he knew in advance the effect His bible would have on humanity: thousands of sects that doctrinally conflict each other; spin-offs like Mormons, JWs, SDA; fundamentalists and liberal christians.

Who is right and who is wrong? Choose wisely, your soul depends on it. Why is God's holy book so open to interpretation that there is no consensus?

Odd that God isn't willing that any should perish (2nd Peter 3:9) but also says that only a few will be saved (Matthew 7). How many more would be saved if God didn't hide from all but a few illiterate guys thousands of years ago?

And how many sects have there been throughout history that claim to the part of the "few" who will find the "Truth?" I was raised in one of these one-true-faith churches.

oh man, I just got a flyer from one such cult - The Revival Fellowship. These guys believe you have to speak in tongues in order to be saved. And you thought the path to salvation was narrow enough already.

I love how Christians always try to prove their point by quoting the Bible right after I tell them I DON"T BELIEVE in the Bible. I think that shows a slight sign of retardation.

@s33ds the scariest thing people can listen to is extra biblical revelations and most "christians" choose to follow those things and listen to modern day "prophets of god." listen my friend we all will have to answer for our choices one day. i am not here to say i am completely right and everyone should obey my standard. i am just here by gods grace doing my best to love him and stay away from anything sinful in my life. i love him and choose to go after holiness.

@Discern4 i truly believe god gave is enough of him to know the truth. in the bible the rich men asked abraham to send angels down to tell his brothers about god and abraham told him "he has moses and the prophets" god already revealed himself to us. it is up to us now to respond. as far as other christian spin-off. most of those came from exta-biblical revelations. i know john smith had an angel called emma reveal the tablets to him. we need to love life by sola scriptura my friend.

@JNtolm i see you only got that far in the theory and COMPLETELY missed that the earth had what you need to support life and how evolution happens, not to mention how Science is a GRAY area where they TRY to EXPLAIN how we came to be by SCIENTIFIC EVEDENCE and we arent always right. I like the vid, and this line of argumentation, but an appologist will simply respond:

"How can you know that God is not doing all he can to save souls, perhaps this is the best possible world given his goals".

Then it devolves into an argument over what can and cannot be known, and it goes in circles....
