@glasseverywhere where does it say that the earth was flat ...there are no document anywhere that suggest people thought the earth was flat ,that was an old mariners tale about sailing off the edge of the planet ,but all the established civilisations knew the planet was a sphere as they knew about calculating phi,,,the earth being flat was never taught in any scholastic way
