@azoreano30 The Mercedes-Benz Actros (the one in this video) has a horsepower range from 310-460 and the Peterbilt 389 has a Cummins ISX15 which has a horsepower range from 400-600. So looks like the MB does not have the most powerful engine when compared to the US ones which pull much more freight and much heavier machinery. The extra axle also helps with traction and helps put more power down on the road

@xXUSMCGRIFFXx u don´t now nothing abaout trucks of europe because the most powerfull engines are from mercedes and volvo so abaout the axels we also have those but because the limit of 16.5 meters we use one axel .

also there is a limit to the length of truck+lorry. so a shorter truck means more capacity.

@realdimension No, but more powered tire sets, chains on all driving sets, and more weight over the tires would help...Ever see Iceroad Truckers? They all use US styled trucks with two sets of powered wheels and larger engines, they don't use Man, Mercedes, or anything like that
