THIS HURTS!
What hurts...: I've been diagnosed with piriform sx and trochanteritis sin by neural-doctor. I would like to learn and do some exercises to fix this problems.
How you hurt it...: 24/7 pain in my butt and my left leg. I'm still trying to handle my work but I'm almost giving up. I work as secretary 6 ours per day and I'm sitting a lot but my desk can also offered me to stand and work with the computer.
When you hurt it...: When I need sit still or for a long time, standing still and lying for long time. It's best to be at home because then I can move a little around the house, sit for a while and lie flat when I need to. I also go everyday for a short walk outside but if I do it for longer than maybe 20 minutes I start to hurt more and lame and the pain gets up to level 9. I then can愒 really be in no position and often ends to taking extra stron medication and sit and wiggle lika an old person until the pain goes with the medicine.
Your pain level (1 is low, 10 is high pain): 8 I think, because I need to take strong medication to get through the day and so I can sleep.
Your age and overall health...: I'm 47 years old woman who has always been in good health and always in physical training 3-4 times each week and always in the right weight. Then 2006 I got disc problem in L4-L5. I went to physiotherapist for 3 mounths and then I was okey for about 2 years. Then I went to surgery (micro disckectomi) in august 2009 after being in awful pain for 1 year.
Any other information you feel is relevant...: The strange thing is...after the surgery nothing changed. I woke up with the same strong pain in my leg and finally now they think they found the problem...piriformis and trochanteritis. I've been reading about it and I feel that this might be right. It was clear in 2006 I had disc problem on MRI and then the pain disappeard for almost 2 years. It then came back in august 2008 and I was always trying to tell the doctor even if the pain was on the same place it was not the same pain. I've been in MRI, CT and myelography and there is no disc problem. I扉e watched your video about piriformis and I done the exercises and it feels good but I need to learn more...
