Nancy Reagan On Her Late Friend Ted Kennedy

Former First Lady Nancy Reagan reflects on the life of the late Senator Edward Kennedy. She tells Larry King that she and Ronald were good friends of Teddy, and added that such a bond between two political parties does not really exist today.

"I wish, Larry, that I could say that now. I just don't get the feeling that that's there now," she says. To which Larry replies, "Nope, respect... seems to be gone."

Isn't it just refreshing to just put everything aside and listen to a gracious lady who has certainly seen some things in her lifetime. She sounds like such a polite and sweet lady. It made me smile when she talked about her and "Ronny" going to the Kennedy house and have a really great time. So refreshing.

wow i love the kennedys but hate ronald reagans policies and hate his sons but nancy seems very classy, funny sweet wise and an overall strong person. i remember her talking about how she loved the SS agents who helped save her husbands life in 1980 after the shooting. idk maybe i hate reagan because of the contras, drug dealings, bush as vp, wall st taking over in the 80s but maybe he was more like Ike who sat back and let the country run itself not knowing how shady george bush really was
