Welcome to Project SHIELD - Android Thursdays. In this series we'll show you examples of how we use the Tegra 4-powered Project SHIELD to play our favorite Android gaming titles.

In this episode, we take you through a demo of Project SHIELD playing the Tegra 4-enhanced version of Burn Zombie Burn from the NVIDIA booth at Mobile World Congress. This PS3 console game features the same light bloom effects and enhanced light effects that you see on the console version.

Android does provide low-level APIs, the NDK provides access to everything you'd expect to have access to on any console or mobile platform that supports native C++ code.

The game in the video is indeed played on the device itself. It's built for Android (Tegra 3) and enhanced for the Tegra 4 powered Shield.

Nvidia Tegra 5 Will have (Nvidia believes) about the same graphics as a PS3. There. Fuck you Sony.
