I dont belive in god, I don like church...and I LOVE GOOD MUSIC such as this masterpiece. IMHO this is beatiful regardless of what your belief is.

This is one of the most stunning choral pieces I have ever heard and have had the pleasure of singing. This music is to celebrate the Virgin Mary. If you don't like it, don't listen to it - but please stop arguing over religion. Yes we are entitled to our opinions, but surely their are limits. Fighting over this is petty - music is to be enjoyed - not to be disagreed over. Feel and love the beauty that Rachmanioff composed. Rest your fingers for a while and calm your anger - it's not worth it. x

@jpd04 Nice comment except you are wrong. Sergei Rachmaninov composed this for church music for the Russian Orthodox service.
