@dkumar50 The count in the video is balanced without the ace. The aces are to be side counted. An excess of aces left is good and a shortage of aces left is bad. An ace should appear every 13 cards and is important to our success at blackjack.

@Tri3Face. Aces are side counted and this is demonstrated on the "Blackjack High-Low Card Count Shattered" video using a chip. The chip going clockwise is similar to the right foot movement. Starting at 12: 00- 1 ace is 1 :07.30, 2 aces is 3: 00, 3 aces is 4: 22.30 and the last ace is 6: 00.

@SaberDude4 Blackjack frequencies are the percentage of hands blackjacks that will be received. We will receive blackjacks 4.83% of the time off the top at single deck. We calculate a higher blackjack frequency with more aces and tens left to play.

All things considered you have just as much chance of winning as a card counter. A measly almost 1% advantage over the casino is not worth your time to learn if you are not going to do it professionally.

@beenboredmike The guy you are referring to is Oliver Galang.First of all,he busted because he didn't use proper bankroll management and,more importantly,he didn't have a good understanding of card counting and how it works.For example: Of course the odds of getting high cards are the same for the player and the dealer. But a BJ for the player pays 3:2.When the dealer has a BJ,the player only loses his bet.

also i was wondering if counting cards could be used in 3 card poker to determine odds of high/low cards, since that game also uses a 52 card deck, and if hi-lo would be best for that(not to be off topic or anything, u just seem to be the 21 master)

I used to use hi-, but then saw a video of an interview of a guy who wrote a book and all he said was how counting cards in casinos does not work. He mentioned how at any time the dealer can get 21, and how you can"lose it all" just like that. that kind of discouraged me from continuing my counting practicing, then i saw ur "hi lo shattered" video and was interesting. Just to make sure, the same type of betting implies in relation to the count in JSTAT as in hi-lo correct? ex:
