@dcfnfb123 The “Oneness of God” did not originate with Islam. It is deeply rooted in Judaism. Deut. 6:4 reads, “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD…” The word “one” is at the center of controversary (debate). In Judaism and Christianity God is one unto Himself, but not one within Himself in the same way in Science an “Atom” with its three sub-atomic particles (Protons, Neutrons, and Electron) in one unto itself, but not one within itself. What is the “oneness of Allah” in Islam?

Someone should've told the non-muslim guy that there's a difference between having different versions of a book and a different translation of a book. There's only ONE version of the Quran and many TRANSLATIONS of the Quran from Arabic to *insert language*
