I shot this on Monday, August 29, 2011 following Irene. I'm not sure it really captures the massive quantity of water flowing past or the damage, but it is still pretty impressive.

  • @jgkantor It really hit hard. The Burlington area is pretty much OK. However the intervale farms were completely underwater for a chunk of time. A group of CSAs, commercial farms and community gardens are likely seriously damaged. As horrible as that is, it's less damage than much of the state.

  • Thanks for posting, hope you all are okay up there.  Lived in Vermont ten years and never saw anything like this.
