Honoring Maynard Ferguson's 80th birthday, one of the greatest jazz trumpeters the world has ever known, former Ferguson band members from around the globe join together to pay tribute as the Maynard Ferguson Alumni Big Band. The concert will showcase music from Ferguson's different eras, from the 50's Birdland Dream Band to the latest Big Bop Nouveau Band, featuring his chart-topping favorites such as MacArthur Park, Gonna Fly Now (Theme from Rocky), and much more!

I was there at the concert last night...needless to say it was amazing!!!! If you ever get a chance to see the alumni namd do it. My friends and I are freshman and we were like the youngest people there. It was sooooo fun! definitely the best concert I've ever been too and probably ever go to.
