so i just watched that for nothing....

@DanceswithBlades5 Anyways, if you're going to email them anyways, someone posted the idea of pointing the mirrors at a single mirror. That sounds like a decent idea as well.
-
@krap101 *Rolls eyes* Alright now go Email that Idea to the mythbusters for yet another Re-test of this.
-
@DanceswithBlades5 key words in your statement are *might* and *most*
-
@krap101 Well duh. But .. that side might not be Shiny since most shield interiors were padded with LEATHER.
-
@DanceswithBlades5 Have you ever considered what's on the back side of a convexly curved shield? I'll give you a clue... it's not also convex...
-
@krap101 If they were Convexly ) <-- curved they would actually Diffuse the light and weaken the beam. And. you NEVER see Shields that are Concavely ( <-- curved. A concave curve would focus the beam.
-
With the car myth. Its because they MISSED. It landed far too late, there was a sweet spot and it would require it landing right on the very tip as a tipping point, not right on the middle of the bonnet.
-
@Ihdc1 lol that's the point imagine if its raining arrow can you find the time to focus that thing
-
Wouldn't the shields have been curved i.e. they would have focused the light a bit
no one taught the kids how to use the aming system for the mirrors

...but here is the thing, MythBusters is about experimentation; it's not about demonstration.
When we experiment, when we try things and we fail, we start to ask why, and that's when we learn...
I wish this was emphasized more in our society.
