@TheDictator09 I go to Klein Collins, TX-20014, and the reason that Texas schools were not able to attend NIDM that year was that the TAKS (standardized testing required for anybody to pass) test was schuduled the same week and the state would not allow us to compete. KC won NIDM the year before and the year after and we expect to carry on that tradition in 19 days!

Actually my school DID get to go. I'm from TX-20028 in houston. Unfortunately we didn't place in any category but we went in 2008 and placed. My unit made history. That nifty community service ribbon yeah we sparked the creation for that ribbon. And it's partly because of me.

That is definitely not true. The Academy was having issues with scheduling around other events happening at the Academy. It was not an attempt to exclude Texas teams.

There were about 10 or so schools that came this year. Yeah, that last minute date change threw us off too. You actually remember us from last year? I'm the only person to have gone both last year and this year.
