God, who came back as his only son, Jesus, sacrificed his son/himself so we could be forgiven of our sins because God apparently has a problem with just forgiving people. But even then we're not completely forgiven; we have to accept this "gift" that God gave us and give our lives over to him in the form of worship...I'm glad our judicial systems aren't Christian.

@AshleyDanielle91 But as far as I can tell, the average "saved" christian makes the exact same choices as every other average decent human being, regardless of their religion or lack-thereof. You don't need god to be a nice person who does their best to avoid harming others. It's actually far more satisfying when you recognize that you are doing it by your own power than convincing yourself you're a dirty worthless monster without god helping you care about others.

'you can not removed a speck from your friends eye when you have a log in your own.' the bible repeatedly teaches Christians that we have no right to comment on what other people do and have no right to judge them. also it helps being 'saved' maybe wont make you a better person but it better helps Christians to understand how they should behave and urm so if you've met Christians saying they have the moral high ground they're pooey christians
