Trista's Birth

Trista's birth is at home in the water. She is my 4th daughter and my third VBAC. 13 people were present for the birth including my other children. We had a male midwife and it was just beautiful.

kudos for doing it natural but i would be SOOOO self conscious about people seeing me completely naked i would wear like a gauzy sleeveless night gown or a giant t shirt. i would be pushing my kid out while trying to cover my boobies and hook one leg over so no one can see me lol. but i would want to do a home birth if i ever have a kid.

@edactori All those there were very trusted friends. Having said that there comes a point when you now longer think about what you are exposing. Good for your for being open to Home birth.

No I didn't they were either family or very good friends. They were all about to see my vagina so why not my breasts. The breasts that my newborns was going to get skin to skin on. If any of them had a problem with it they would not have been there.

Why would you let your boobs hang in front of your children? I know some people should learn but those are still young kids? My niece still thinks her baby bro came by stork and I think thats how it should be not yor boobs and vag. hangong out.

This is beautiful. I don't know why more people don't take/have pictures taken of birth, it's on the same par of importance as a wedding (arguably more, but as i've never had a child, i'm going to be diplomatic with my assumptions), which you'll have hundreds of pictures of, and these pictures are so wonderful! So strong and loved and sweet. Thank you for sharing this.
