Angels And Theives (Music Video)

The song is "Angels and Thieves" by Dala and (for once!) I have their permission to use it! So go me!

This is a Communications Technologies project. I was supposed to make a music video and so I did. I worked quite hard on it and froze my freaking face off filming it, so I decided to put it up here where most people would see it.

Again, I must apologize for lack of animation, but school keeps me busy. It really, really does. ):

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it anyhow!

Random Facts About This Video:

- The basic "plotline", is that we go through our lives wearing our proverbial masks and hiding from each other. If one decides to take the "mask" off, then we must accept not only ourselves, but both the good and evil within ourselves. (Both the Angels and the Thieves. YouseewhatIdidthere?)

- This video was inspired by a line in an Elvenking song, which I shall recite for you now:

"The courage to look inside myself, deep in the corners where I never peer. The will to face your darkest friend, and realize he has always been a part of yourself."

- I wanted to use masks because I had to be on camera and I didn't want to show my face. But I needed to lip sync and the half masks were totally ridiculous so they came off eventually.

- While I was filming on the hill as the thief, an old couple walking their dogs showed up, and didn't believe me when I said I was shooting a music video as an explanation for the makeup. They just decided I was a scary goth and booked it. Highly embarrassing, yet glorious.

- A lot of those extreme close ups were actually just me fiddling with the camera on it's Tripod and making sure I had the shot I wanted, but I used them as filler a bunch!

- You're a beautiful human being with an unusually long attention span to be reading this right now. I applaud you, and reward you with one free internet. Use it wisely. If used improperly, an internet can free the demons of olde and wreck havoc on the world as we know it, causing Ragnarock to happen. Well, good luck!

I hope you will, that could totally set your life up. You directing a video at 17/18 could be amazing on a resume, especially at your age.
