The Producers - She Sheila

The New Wave band from Atlanta, Georgia called The Producers with their MTV hit video "She Sheila" from 1982. I posted this up for my wife. This is one of her all time 80's favorites.

I was at The University of Georgia when The Producers were popular. They came to campus one year, and everybody knew all the words to every song they played. Best concert ever. This song was from their 2nd and less successful album. Every song on their 1st album was great. They played at "The Mad Hatter" in Athens, and throughout the southeast. They were great, and the keyboard player (Wayne Famous?) was a lot of fun to watch.

Hard to believe its been 30 years! I would have been a junior in high school, so this music really brings it all back. The best days gone by...I guess mom and dad were right-the older you get the faster time seems to go-too bad things aren't like they used to be-not just being a little younger, but if I could freeze time and live in one era, I think this would be it!
