  • Gohan is meals of the day! Bento is 'lunchbox' style thingy.. I am learning so fast with you :) The numbers are somewhat confusing but I'll keep trying to remember. I guess your japanese students have the same problem as I do with distunguishing between their 'one' and 'two'.. i can barely hear the difference! <3

  • It's easier to see it written out in Romaji:

    1 is hee-tote-sue

    2 is foo-tat-sue

  • LOL. My friend went to Japan and forgot this. He got a giggle when he tried to order "Ni Hamubaagaa." LOL.

  • Even though my japanese has improved, it's still easier to point at the menu and wave my hands around ^__^
