In 1930s Chicago, three men in a bar discuss the recent murder of an acquaintance.

I made this film in about a week, animating into the early hours of the morning on several nights. It was partly inspired by the short fiction of Ernest Hemingway.

  • how do u control the lighting so well in such a small set? btw i think it was awesome, script and everything else, odnt see why people think its confusing

  • I had the light coming into the set from small holes in the walls behind the lamps.

  • is the quality always this bad?

  • No, that's just YouTube. You can actually add &fmt-18 to the end of the URL for better quality.

  • Stunning cinematography. Liked the twist at the end.

No. the guy who sat in the seat was the guy who murdered Bill Carney. But nice idea, I may use it haha

  • I just love it. I'm also a huge fan of Smeagol Studios so I was pretty excited to see Philip Heinrich's name. Great animation.

  • That was amazing. I like how at the end you have to figure it out yourself. And the cinematography was incredible.
