Prague In Your Pocket editor, Jacy Meyer in Prague's St. Vitus Cathedral (Katedrála svatého Víta), one of Europes great Gothic cathedrals.
St. Vitus is the spiritual heart of the nation as the mausoleum of Bohemian kings and the citys greatest landmark. Work on the present cathedral was started in 1344 but it wasnt consecrated until 1929. Check out Muchas stained glass window and the door with seven locks leading to the crown jewels. Dont miss the beautiful mosaic depicting the Last Judgment of Christ on the exterior of the cathedral. The mosaic is 84 square metres and was created in 1371.

  • I always wanted to go inside it... but I didn't, cause I was on that shi***y excursion where we were just standing in front of it and watching the surroundings and that cool clock with figures. I WANNA GO BACK AND GO INSIDE!!!

  • omg it's like deja'vu, I remember going about two months ago and I got a clip on my camera IDENTICAL to 0:07 - 0:10. And I remember the glass windows and statues inside. It's weird watching this.
