Under government plans, you could be faced with becoming a private patient, or joining the back of an ever-growing queue. Don't let the government put profits before patients. http://www.unison.org.uk/ournhs/

  • @Varangian3 Er.. if the gov are going to start paying the private sector to run services A) it will cost the country at least 20/30% more, then the argument will be that patients have to contribute more. B) The big multi national companies already trying to take over our hospitals have a dire record of clinical care C) think about where this ends up? If market forces run the NHS the same way as any other utility then we will all be far worse off.D) Cameron has lied repeatedly about the NHS.

  • @beansmacca99 Once the critical mass that the NHS currently provides is lost then the carpet baggers really do move in and health costs will soar , like I say, generations to come will be very critical if we leave the NHS to market forces.

  • As a Conservative, I must admit to finding this video very arousing. What can I say? Privatising things just makes me want to masturbate furiously.

  • @triangl true

  • this would have been funnier if the people who had been hard done by the sytem reacted as if they were happy with it. It undermines the satirical conceit, that this is a promotional video, to have the actors disliking it.

  • Thats good satire

  • @bkkbound Not only are you wrong, but your bigotry is showing.

  • Instead of using our money to privatise our NHS, the government should spend time looking for all the illegal immigrants in this country, who cost the nhs millions each year. Its far too easy for the government to make us pay for their slip ups. When the government joined up with the other european countries, they should have set ground rules and have systems in place. The nhs belongs to us stand up to the government and shout NO YOU WILL NOT PRIVATISE our NHS. Better still throw them out.

  • My union subs have gone to good use!

  • MEDIC! MEEEEEEEDIIIIIC!

  • @ThePretender4 The change is that all of those other providers are in the business of making profits for their shareholders, if you naively think that it not a massive move to a privatised system then you are not in a position to understand the ideology driving the change.
