@KuroKoi Even so, as a tribute, it hold some of the original emotion that Inoue Daisuke sang. This performance does justice to a work of genius. You can actually feel the emotion through their voices. It's pretty heartfelt. True, the original is always going to be better; but as tributes go, this is the best I have heard.

"We were about to start the climax of Operation Stardust. Many of the newcomers are scared. I am one of the only ones in my unit who fought in the One Year War. We still had another 30 minutes when one opf the vets in my unit began to softly sing: 'AI, fuureru ai...' I soon joined in. Before it was time to go, the entire ship sang with us. Half our unit was lost, but we are together in that song. I will never forget those men of honor: The true soldiers of sorrow."-Zeon Soldier, UC 0083

FUCK YEAH ICHIRO MIZUKI!

I think if you're trying to do this song without a piano it automatically will be nowhere near as good as the original.

@arcticeagle The thing is that Gackt doesn't go out of his comfort zone. He always uses his own style while these guys emulate the original spirit.

"I hear the soldiers around a fire, with two of them playing the guitar, while the rest emotionally sing this song... Some cry, some doesn't sing as loud as the rest... Some confort the few who break down during the melody. I only watch and sing, as the Soldiers of Sorrow pray together for the come of the New Day."
