This is Two Part Invention No 13 in A minor from Johann Sebastian Bach. I performed this after 2,5 years of learning playing piano (from the scratch).

The performance is still far from being perfect, but as there are not so many things to correct, I decided to record it anyway.

Feel free to judge current result by yourself.

  • Nice to listen to version

  • @pianogirlshopaholic Good thing you don't need to know how to spell "Bach" correctly in order to play Bach correctly. "the is what back is knows for..." what?

Your advice is probably not bad, but your spelling is absurdly bad, to the point where I can only imagine someone spelling worse than you if they tried to do it on purpose.

  • now why can't i play it like that? o_O

  • @pianogirlshopaholic so you're saying that someone who's been playing for only 2.5 years needs more practice... that's a big surprise

  • I like it! Inventions aren't easy, and you've done some really good work. :-)

  • @pianogirlshopaholic And for the love of god work on your spelling. If you were in a grade four spelling be you would fail. "thxs :)"

  • your playing the right hand when the right hand is the melody, but also when the left hand is supposed to be the melody. ik some ppl here say its good, but u need more practice. the melody is supposed to be going back and forth like a conversation. the 8th notes are supposed to be staccato and silent while the other hand plays the 16 notes. the is what back is knows for...so work on ur voicing thxs:) if u would play that at a competition, i'm sorry but you would fail.

  • Great Playing! Congratulations!
