I want to build htpc without any fan to make it as silent as possible. What hardware do you think feats better?

Not hard to get a decent one with a sata port. Buy a cooler master external case and put a HDD into that. They have both USB and eSata. Win-win situation. Plus you can buy a decent drive to put in it, rather than a shitty standard one.

Yep you should be able to. I'm about to start looking around for some myself. You can probably purchase them from sound stores.
