Mr/Mrs dislike - your dislike is excused only if you are the person who coughed before the horn false entrance, because everyone else dislikes you right back.

Two things about this performance would usually make me turn away: the fast tempos, and the original trumpet notes in the first movement coda (I like the so-called "Weingartner-ending"). Anyway, the intensity Jarvi ignites from his players is soul-rattling. This performance is stunning. What sensational care he lavishes over getting his players, most notably those supercharged strings, to bite into the accented notes like they've not eaten for a month. Bravo!! Bravo!!! Bravo!!!!!!!
