Another one. The fanbase is divided between those who try to convince themselves that Poison is a girl (feelin' awkard lookin' at her?) and those who realize what she is and hate on her and the game. Seriously, why do SF fans have to be divided between unsure homophobic racists and aggressive homophobic racists? So sad.
Anyway, yes: female Poison was a SCRAPPED IDEA, and when FF came out, she was already a tranny. She's been like that ever since (and it has been confirmed over and over). Period.
