Hey, kids! Are you tired of watching videos with crystal clear, HD picture quality caught with multiple cameras from different vantage points? You won't find any of that here! Instead, have a remastered version of one of my oldest videos: the catching a Spiritomb tutorial video. This is naught but a test run of the all-new YouTube feature that lets you optimize the video's picture quality on the website itself. Even old, dusty videos like this one can look much better when you use it! Although this was all done completely by mistake, seeing as I meant for these changes to be applied to the original video. I never meant for this to be its own video to begin with, but it's also really been an awfully long time since I've uploaded something here. The reason the changes couldn't be applied to the original video is because it had too many views. Go figure.
Full video title: Remastered Spiritomb Capturing Session (and how to get your own in not Pokemon Black and Pokemon White)
(Obviously it was too long so I had to shorten it!)
POINTS OF INTEREST FOR YOUNG WHIPPERSNAPPERS SUCH AS YOURSELF (PROBABLY):
Q: Does this mean you'll be uploading new stuff now?
A: Maybe, maybe not. Like I said, this was done completely by mistake, but I'd really love to work on videos again someday.
Q: Hey, can I battle...
A: NO.
Q: Why not?
A: This video may be kind of misleading. I don't play Pokemon as much as I used to because I've got other things to do, and I'm now living at my school. Connecting to the internet wirelessly with my computer and iPod is easy enough, but it seems like my 3DS does everything in its power to make it so I can't have a stable connection saved for it to use. The 3DS isn't the only one, either; none of my gaming consoles are able to connect, either! That means you won't be hearing from me anyway.
Q: What did you use to make this crummy-looking video?
A: Windows Movie Maker and an Xbox Live camera. From 2007. Four years ago (as of this writing). On Windows XP. If I went back to completely remake this video from the ground up (which I won't, by the way), the video quality would be much nicer.
Q: MAI LEVUL 100 SPIRITOM IS SHINEE ADN I BET I KAN BEET J00 LOLOLOL!
A: That's cool. I can definitely type in proper English and pull attention away from you, though.
Q: I CAN BEAT MARRILAND WITH MY UBER TEAM!
A: Get with the times, will you?
Q: Who's Marriland?
A: Was that joke too obscure? Here's a brief history lesson:
Marriland is some dude who runs a massive Pokemon fan-site, which is second only to Serebii.net. He used to have Pokemon battles over Nintendo Wi-Fi for fun, but he became popular for beating some chap called Untouchable, who used a team made entirely of Uber Pokemon (see: video[dot]google[dot]com/videoplay?docid=615597013092648861).
Since then he posted and popularized Pokemon battle videos here on YouTube. He happened to win in every video he posted, so everyone and their brother thought he was the "king" of battling and wanted to challenge him to try and beat him, much to his annoyance. In response, he started to post videos where he lost and outright claimed that he isn't "the best player in the world" like a lot of people thought, and the hype died down. Now he's more known for posting walkthroughs of the latest Pokemon games and running his website.
Aww, now the joke's not funny anymore. I hope you're happy.
