Cory Pesaturo and Yasmine Azaiez - Part 1

Here is a 2 part, 12 minute piece of a 1 hour and 15 minute performance in Tunis, Tunisia on May 23rd, 2009 by the Fiery Duo comprised of Violin Sensation Yasmine Azaiez & Accordion Virtuoso Cory Pesaturo. This was broadcast on National TV in Tunisia, and was performed in front of a live audience. What makes this duo so unique, is the fact that only about 40% of what you hear is set beforehand, and loosely so. Where each piece may go harmonically, rhythmically, and otherwise, is completely unknown. Te connection between these 2 musicians on stage is powerful enough that looking at each other to end tunes is not even needed. This all goes for Classical pieces as well, as the melody may be taken to new regions, keys and sounds at a moments notice.
