The full Super 8 trailer has finally arrived, and while it doesn't answer many of the questions fans still have (we still don't see the monster!) it does give us the best look at the plot so far. Along with it comes the official plot synopsis:
In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth -- something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.
Super 8 opens up in theaters June 10, 2011 and will hopefully reveal everything.

I saw it last night. This movie DOES have an alien in it, you actually get to see it full lenght by the last quarter of the movie. Other than that, it involves strained parent/child relationship, a magnificent train wreck scene and 8 kids who are actually very funny. short summary? kids go to film their movie, witness trainwreck caused by an ex army scientist, wreck releases an alien that is "scared, hungry and wants to go home". Army tries keeping it a secret. boy saves the day.
