Replacire consists of 5 extremely talented musicians, all brought together with the drive to create interesting and melodic, yet bone crushing metal. It all began one day when the band's guitarists and founding members Eric Alper and Ben Scudder met in the Berklee cafeteria, shortly after this fateful meeting the bands first song was written. What followed were several months of what seemed like an ever changing line-up of musicians until one day, when the gods smiled down upon us, and the planets aligned to create the perfect field of energy, and Jon Teachey took his throne behind the drums, Evan Berry picked up the microphone with a thunderous roar, and Miles Esner, with his four strings of thunderous doom, came to join the madness. Soon the band had 3 solid and quite different tunes, and several bad ass covers in the works. Alas, by this time the year was coming to a close and we scrambled to record our first demo, which is available above for your listening pleasure. Unfortunately, at the time of this writing we are on a hiatus for the summer, due to unreconcilable locational differences. But come the Fall we shall be reunited! It is at this point that you should expect two more eargasms of unfathomable pleasure, and many many live performances that will be punishable by death for not attending. So heed our warning and listen intently, for the era of REPLACIRE is upon us all!
