just curious what you think of it now,,,I just tried it out. Works surprisingly well, but still laggy and everything looks kind of blurry. The only thing going for it is that you dont' have to install games, and you have thousands of games at your fingertips literally. I just tried out 10 games in 10 minutes. I think you need a hard-wired internet connection for the games to look and respond good enough for most gamers

@AshBradford do you play saints row 3 on Onlive and also add me on Onlive and my gamertag blackknightdude if you want to play together.

the concept of onlive is definatly the future of gaming but not at this present time.
the people are not ready for it, likewise the industry is not ready for it. The only way i can see it becoming a success is if they drop the prices of their games drasticly so there is more of an incentive to make a purchase. ultimatly there is nothing this service can offer the end user that a pc,ps3,xbox cant already offer!. at the moment ied avoid like the plaque lol

While customers wont benefit from not being able to resell games, the production chain will. No more used games market putting money in the pockets of customers just lots of lovely first sales and because of that games WILL get cheaper!!! ... and then I woke up.
I think you should have titled your video "My opinion of OnLive". You speculate about the price and which games will be available but don't really show that you've done enough research. A very good point you made was you are unable to play your games with players on different console networks (although, this is a con of a new-gen console being released and not tied to this console alone). If 60 gig download limit is the norm then xlive would really only be suitable for casual gamers

@dasteve I love how people say I didn't do the research, when they failed to do the research on this video. It was made over a year ago, and is based on ALL of the information that was available at the time. Check your dates people.

You really need to update this topic because lots of these "what if's" have been answered and if you look at the partners that have joined with On Live...there are some big ones
EA,Eidos,THQ,Epic,Nvidia,ATI,Ubisoft,Codemasters,AMD and im sure much more will come
Secondly, the microconsole is said that the cost is so minimal that in some packages it is FREE
Game prices have been said will be cheaper than retail due to no cost for the publisher for discs and cases
Please update what is wrong

@bobbyh559 And why would I bother to update? I made this video over a year ago. If you want to watch videos about onlive it's your onus to check the date if that sort of thing bothers you. Besides, the things you listed hardly change my opinion. The Onlive team has been going on about their 'cheaper' games since they announced their project. I simply don't believe it.
