@odingr It's not only harder than piano, it's harder than playing guitar the normal way.
Anyone can walk up to a piano and play a note. Or a simple chord or scale. Hit the keys, clear sound comes out.
Not so with tap-style guitar. It's very hard to get just a single note to sound properly, especially with the right hand. It's almost completely "wrong" for the instrument to sound notes that way.
