@hitssquad Money doesn't tell all about productiveness and wastefulness. It just tells how much you have to give money for an exchange for some goods. But a clean lake is also a resource. If you pay 5 cents for a plastic spoon every time instead of using a metallic one for the rest of your life plus giving the metal spoon forward to your grandchildren, then how does that 5 cents tell what we need to know? Money is _not_ the best tool.

@hitssquad Rbe is not my invention. Web has existed long, but now the web is part of everyday life. There are societies, but Rbe has just started to gather momentum. It sure has started decades ago, but now it has better ground to grow. The time has come to act. The movement gains interest, because now things add up, in many ways. There are the problems, people are facing difficulties, unemployed have a lot of free time, there is the internet, people are starting to get together...

@hitssquad Scarcity is now greater than ever - scarcity of the resources that are still _left_. Also there are different kinds of slaves in the world now than ever was, and billion are starving. World economy is facing crises, we need to save countries from choking to debt, and so on. There is over consumption, things are used for short time, then new is bought, ... No sustainability, and 2 more billion people will join us.

@hitssquad Capitalism has been more succesful so far, because people have been consuming like mads. But turbo consuming will be history. We will face waste and scarcity. People will become restless again. There will be food riots, fuel riots, and so. The world will go nuts. Communism has been tried, facism is not an option. The only vent there is is voluntary back to earth resource based economy. Communism got bad reputation regardless of it's final stage, but there they realised too

@hitssquad I didn't know about Fresco until lately, thanks to the internet, which wasn't here since 1927... And the internet has revealed me how badly distorted things actually have ended up. So now there is also evidence to support Fresco, plus even poor people can today access the internet to read the stuff. In rbe you know how much people need stuff by using web forms. Things don't cost money in the end anyway, they cost resources. People cannot order limitlessly, they choose

@Kratax "The alternative is that humankind ends up screwed with waste and scarcity."
The best way people today know what's wasteful and what's productive -- for society as a whole -- is to pay attention to the amount of money that things trade for. Therefore, if money were eliminated, people would lose the best tool they had for judging productiveness and wastefulness. How would they then be supposed to maximize productivity and eliminate waste?

@Kratax "didn't have powerful computers nor internet."
Jacque Fresco says the technology required for an RBE has existed since 1927: google. com/search?q=jacque+fresco+192

"First there will be many smaller societies."
Where are they? Interest in RBE's has been widespread since at least as fat back as the early 1970's. The web has existed since 1993. Where is the first RBE? Are you going to keep delaying this for centuries?
-
@Kratax "The alternative is that humankind ends up screwed with waste and scarcity."
Then why have monetary economies reduced waste and scarcity?: ejsd. org/public/journal_article/11 "from a historical perspective, food, energy and materials are [less scarce] today than they have been for much of human history. Third, despite unprecedented growth in population, affluence, consumption and technological change, human well-being has never been higher"
-
@Kratax "because the society is better for the majority of people, the society will become the new norm."
Then why hasn't it done so, yet? It's not as if this idea were new. This non-resource-based society you call a resource-based society has had decades of widespread interest. Why hasn't it started yet?
.
"Communism [...] used money"
The final stage of communism doesn't use money. Look it up. Please.
We need resource based economy. Then we think resources. There won't even be money nor debt at all to think about. There will be resource points. A product is not cheap, if it is cheap to produce when the product is wasteful. Also in rbe we think about sustainable development. When culture is changed, people change. But it has to be voluntary societies alongside money world, because if forced then others stop the change. Society can trade centrally with the outside world, internally no money.
