I know they claim that much gain in hp they did the same thing for mine, but I know for a fact that I didn't get 18hp, I probably got about 5hp out of it at the most. But yea for the price it is definitely worth it, plus you get about a 1 mile per gallon increase in your gas mileage. So I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I'm out of TL and into GS 350 and was skeptical of manufacturer claims that I could add 18+ horsepower by adding intake system. Thanks philbrownell05

actually the Short Rams kick in way before that, you get the most gain at about 3000 and then you start to lose it and at about 4500 you start to return to stock intake airflow.

the Cold Air Inakes add more hp but the short ram doesn't give you anywhere near 18hp, not even to the crank, mostly the Short Rams are for throttle response in the low to mid RPM's and a lil better gas mileage. I mean they do give you a performance boost a little bit but if you're looking for significant hp increase than I'd go with a Cold Air Intake not a Short Ram intake.

considering that wasn't the best sound quality it still sounded really nice, plus the fact that that car was not meant to be loud or sound that nice but you managed to make it do just that. nicely done.
