1st grade guided reading - part 1

Ms. O'Sullivan teaching a J level guided reading group. In the video you will see students reading silently, pausing to take post it notes, specifically focusing on character motivation and providing text evidence. They are reading silently and working to build stamina. While the students are reading, you will see Ms. O'Sullivan taking notes on the students reading habits as well as the comments about the work students are doing.

The remaining students in the first grade class are using computers, reading independently, writing how-to's and at the listening center.
