  • @lOcolatiinO Thank you. I'm doing a fictional movie (storyboard, you can see it on my channel) about Aztecs/Mayans civilisations. I was wondering, Aztecs are renown for their human sacrifices, and the Mayans are renown for their calendar and their science. Could you tell me more. I'm very curious. Thank you.

  • @lOcolatiinO Also there language was very difference, different names for there gods. Aztecs were very heavy on sacrifices as the mayans weren't.

  • @gringodeltoro1 there is a difference between the Mayans and Aztecs. The Aztecs populated Mexico, the yucatan and many other areas of mexico. And the Mayans populated Mexico, Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Honduras and there are also other differences too.

  • Is there a difference between the Mayans and the Aztecs.... or were they altogether the same?

  • Hola, estoy en Yucatán ahora mismo, llevo algunos pueblos recorridos, aun no encuentro un grupo que lleve la tradición maya. Un grupo de conocimiento, espero que Don alejandro conosca algun grupo en Yucatán.

  • ancient, meaning not yet did scientific proof exist.

  • @misterfluffypuff Maybe thats why the medieval catholic priests, scribes were so occupied..they had to document their version of history, and they may lied to justify their unjust deeds..it's a general guess of mine

  • to be honest i don't really care so much if the mayans, amongst other mesoamericans, sacrificed people. such cases, aswell as their wars, were highly ritualised and there was no wanton collateral damage or overkill. in contrast, we europeans have always been more destructive. hopefully all that will change in the coming years though.

  • Beautiful video.. Thank you!

  • Thank you. Long live the Maya!
