this character for an spanish like me is a well made character and has is humour but doesn't reflex the most part of who we are the spanish people except the people who is formal and serious

Well then again, most of the characters of Punch-out!! are pretty much exaggerations and almost stereotypes, I mean... we've got Glass Joe, Disco Kid, Piston Honda/o, Aran Ryan and all of his lucky 7's greens and the sort, Bear Hugger, and even Super Macho Man. But hey, that's what makes Punch-Out!! funny and cool.

That, and Don Flamenco is a pretty badass Spaniard, even if he is a exaggerate and near stereotype of Spanish people.
