Andy Talbert Progressive Metal Drum Solo Improvisation 03.20.11 -Part III-

Its been called "experimental idiocy," "Close to half alright," "horrible banging," "iffy, very chopping and not consitant,"
It "lacks musicality" and I've been told that my old drum set "burned in a fire for a reason"
I've been called: "such a poser/hypocrite that it actually kind of hurts"
Another gem: "dude this guy is horrible, his drums sound like shit, he doesnt have any emotion, he doesnt hit the cymbals hard enough to hear their true sound..... and when he tried to roll the toms it looked like he was trying to stab a hole through the heads...."
Though my favorite so far: "Don't act like you're enlightened when you're simply trying to defend your own lack of taste."
And a couple people (literally, just a couple) actually LIKED it!!!

Its been called many things. It musical masturbation. Me playin with myself.... (there's a band in my head!)
I only hope this video gets as much love as my previous ones!!

Very cool. The tangents near the end don't seem to fit as well as the rest of it, but that's just my opinion. Definitely a full, cool song that seems to have been fleshed out in drums. Reminds me of Stream of Consciousness style instrumental-ism. Overall, I liked it a lot.

very clean fills. love how they are tuned. also like your roles. you have great speed and no gapps when you do cominded foot work with your hands. btw..i read the description..your not a poser, you have a gift. drums are concidered one of the hardest instruments to play. you have skill. you should be praised not rejected. shit like that really pisses me off. take my advice. keep doing what you do. those drums can make your future that much sweeter. stay metal! keep drumming \m/
