I've been very vocal in combating the black propaganda against the homeless for years. Good to see that the rest of the world is beginning to exhibit signs of beginning to wake up to reality. The majority of homeless are NOT mentally ill or drug addicted. More likely they are working poor, crime victims, abused women & children. Or a combination of these factors. My wish is for all people who judge the homeless to experience homelessness themselves for at least 6 months. They need the lesson.

this will be worse than the housing bubble, a lot of my own peers have taken out loans and used the money for cars, computers, rent, everything but books and classes. We have now reached a tipping point thanks to these greedy bankers.

Yup, been there myself with my daughter. I am a college graduate and had a job at the time but one bad row of luck and we were homeless. Thank the gods we had friends to take us in. I slept on my friend's sofa for 3 months until we could get enough money coming in to move out into a studio apt where I slept on the floor for a year.
