You don't want to have anything to do with the new public option healthcare? THEN DON'T. You don't have to pay for it. You don't have to use it. But kindly stand out of the way of people who want it and can benefit from it. And maybe start relying a little more on the fact than playing on fear. part 2
-
Once again, lots of claims with nothing to back them up. Where can I find an unbiased source that verifies any of this? NO ONE, with any sanity, is saying that the government should have ANY part in making these decisions AT ALL! They are only offering to pay for it when AND IF the people who are involved (the person themself most likely) decide to do it. IT'S FREAKIN' OPTIONAL! THE WHOLE THING IS OPTIONAL! part 1
-
We should not make the taxpayer or government responsible for the decisions that family members make once someone is terminally ill.
Besides its the people like Ezy-kill Emanuel and bean counter Peter Orzag that puts these bills together with 'cost effective' treatments terminology that is in appropriate talk...you don't put a 'cost' on a person's life.
The whole bill is designed to make it legal to take the very money from citizens who paid into the system and divert it to more bailouts.

So the bill says that the government wants to kill people? Okay, then just tell me where I can find that little tidbit in the bill and we can put this whole thing to rest. The idea of reimbursing doctors for end-of-life counseling is not partisan. It's just a good idea. Death certainly isn't partisan. It's nature. And what's this real revolution I should be joining? Btw, I am a SARCASTIC douche. Not a pompous douche. Get it right! :-) [p.s. That "dummy" comment hurt.]

dude you are still stuck on liberal conservative bull wake up it is both demicans and republicrats that are getting shouted down over this one stop trying to make it bipartisan join the real revolution instead off coming off as a pompous douche try reading the bill dummy
Anytime you are admitted to the Hospital for a procedure be it large or small you are asked to sign something called an Advanced Directive. Advance Directives ask the patient to state their wishes regarding CPR, Life Support and in some cases Organ Donation. We need to make that a part of our routine Dr. visits as well. We ALL need to think about and prepare for the possibility that we may die tomorrow or be incapacitated and unable to express our wishes, none of us are promised tomorrow.
