A few hours before his solo show on 6/9/09 at the Palace Theater in Albany, a group of crazy excited fans greeted a very gracious Eddie Vedder. Pearl Jam has been my favorite band since I was 16 back in 1992. It was great to be able to shake his hand and thank him for all the great music which has meant a great deal to me in my life!

  • @Rfprimm Why would you assume that we don't thank the troops as well? I don't understand where your question comes from. I certainly thank the troops for all they do. They already get a ton of props from everyone I know and I think they deserve even more. No reason I can't thank Eddie for his music as well.

  • @mightyolav I don't know... I just don't think I've ever heard someone be that greatful sounding to them. Anyways just ignore what I said I don't mean to start trouble I'm just thinking outloud.

  • @Rfprimm It's OK. I get in trouble for thinking out loud on the internet all the time. Besides, you're correct in saying that the troops don't get enough gratitude. Peace.

  • Wow, this is the coolest thing that can happen to a PJ fan. I'm so happy for you guys.

Love the screamings and hugs after Eddie leaves, it´s like you had to behave in front of him so that he wouldn't freak out and run away :P

When PJ came to Argentina I had the opportunity to meet Mike, Jeff and Matt, so I know the feeling and it's just something that can be described with words. Plus this guys are the kindest people that you'll find, no rockstar attitude at all.

    Congratulations again!

  • @goo83 but... he is jesus

  • Wow you're so lucky! I almost started crying watching this, Eddie is so good to his fans. I would have been the girl crying in the corner after he walked away hahah

  • I know the feeling... I watched this video and I started crying... cause shaking his hand was the coolest thing that could happen to a PJ´s fan. It was before their last show in Brazil in 2011. To me and my husband....totally surreal. We still look at each other and can´t believe it really happened. And after Eddie´s left people had the same reaction of screaming and jumping and feeling so happy. Eddie, thank you! I couldn´t say a word at the time, so I am saying it now. So glad I met you!

  • @Rfprimm seriously? DA TROOPS? fuck you and fuck your troops

  • Oh My God I would have been in Heaven !! You guys were so fortunate to get to meet him, I don't think I would have been able to not flip my shit--you all were great!

  • Thanks for sharing, this is a great video!!!! Again - Eddie really seems like a nice dude with excellent manners. And... totally agree with KillYourTeeVee here (and I'm not even a PJ fan), LOL!!

  • How Cool!!! I can feel your excitement!!! I bet that was awesome for Eddie to hear your happiness as he was walking away! 8)
