Scarce: Days Like These
Director: Sally Irvine
Release Date: 12th October 2009
Days Like These is the story of the rise and fall, and rise again of the band Scarce. Admired by musicians and fans alike for their unique brand of rock and roll and blistering live performances, they appeared destined for stardom before tragedy struck and a brain aneurysm left guitarist Chick Graning fighting for his life. Fast forward 10 years and Scarce are back to prove their passion still resonates today.
The biopic contains never seen before footage of Scarce including studio sessions, archive and early footage, interviews with Scarce friends such as Kristin Hersh (Throwing Muses), Joe Lally (Fugazi), friends and fans new and old, and Industry cohorts that never stopped believing in Scarce.
Sally Irvine's film is a celebration of Scarce, past, present and future.

I gotta say it is frikkin' AWESOME that these guys started playing together again...They def. had something unique, original, and powerful happening in early/mid 1990's and it'll be interesting to see what journey they take from here

That video still when they're talking about Chick's brain hemorrhage is from the Lord Nelson Hotel in Halifax for a MuchMusic interview, isn't it?
