Hey great vid . I purchased a 2.0 usb hub that has 4 ports. My laptop ports are only 1.1 therefore the hub was said to work for 1.1 so that i can connect 2.0 software to it. but my pc still dosn't reconize it and says "This Can perform faster if you connect it to 2.0" HELP??

Hey thanks for the info on the USB, but I have an issue, I neither have a USB hub, or a PCI card, what I have might be a hub, but I haven't the foggiest. It's a Comax Hi-Speed USB with two ports on it, my question is "Where the heck do I plug it into my Motherboard?"
My Computer is old, but I would really like to put these extra USB ports to use and I just don't know where to put them.

I think I figured it out, could someone confirm this for me?
USB Root Hub has an advancd tab that says "USB operating at full speed"...would this imply that it is a 2.0 port, and if it was a 1.1, it might say something diffrent.
This is in W7 Ultimate, and XP does not have this advanced tab. Not sure about Vista though?
If this is confirmed, I'm still looking for how to figure this out in XP, as I run both OS's on seperate machines.

They should make USB ports on TV'S so you can listen to music and look at pictures directly to the TV from the MP3 or Camera.
