  • I'm doing the walk in honor of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior and for my mother

  • i walked for my brother.

  • BTW my grandmother is the far right last person around 1:34- 1:37

  • friends, and people all around her that is suffering with depression and suicide thoughts that AFSP has helped.

  • I was a person who attended the speeches and ceremonies before the walk and my grandmother, Mary Pat McMahon, gave an amazing speech. Our family has gone through so much and at the age of 13, at the time, i do not joke around about suicide like some of my friends do. I lost my uncle matt before my parents adopted me and it hurts to know that i never got to meet him. My grandmother, and my family is grateful to have have this and my grandmother has done so much to support her family, friends..

  • “There is no map on this path to becoming whole after the loss of a loved one to suicide. It is the most painful of journeys – full of twists and turns, bruised hearts and misunderstandings. Small wonders appear on this path but we may be too sore or fragile to recognize them. But there will be a day when you can look back and know that they were there.” - AFSP Survivors Council

  • Our team (Aaron's Anglers) did the walk for my son Aaron who was 15 when he took his life. Aaron suffered from undiagnosed depression. These walks, along with the community walks, help aid in erasing the stigma surrounding depression and suicide, while providing a mechanism for family and friends to start the long journey of healing.

  • I did this walk for my late husband, and father of 2, Kenneth P. Lausier. RIP, daddy. <3 Thanks to the members of Kenny's Krew.

  • i did this walk for adam "F" correnti. miss you bro.
