3 unions made up of 2 party leaders, separate rush, david and emma in to union leaders one for each, , if there separate there limits will be more of use etc.


as for formations of the unions i had emmas group church bell III
as for rushs group i had cascade II
as for davids group i had cascade II again


rush had equipped + 5 strength and a +8 intelligence




as for the strategy when facing this opponent kill the other groups first and do not touch hell gate till you defeated everything else, then when your on to hell gate make sure if your going for deadlock you knw 100% of the out come, and if you need to hell the groups make sure you try and un-deadlock while healing that why if an area attack they will be away from it thus doing as little damage as possible. and if a party should die, make sure your number one priority is to kill the dead party to get the effect of hell gate off them. make sure rush's summon does not die, otherwise your really screwed so keep hp topped up


i did a mistake while doing this video i meant to add torgal because he dose amazing damage but its ok




am soo happy i got passed this since it was my 15th try -.- there will be 2 more parts of hell gate to come

how do you get it?im on hells gate at the moment but i just cant seem to beat him.and im not using that sword so it might help more.

ok well, tbh i have no idea how i done it lol, you just need luck, i got my tactics you see in the info part from a friend who done it, and told me what he done and it just sort of happened, althou, please tell me what your battle rank is ?

this boss is easy. Just let cyclops be the one who first deadlocks the boss. Let everyone stand back and heal.

killed it first try... always have a group dedicated to healing (i had pagus+ 2 good healing-reviving soilders)

i am battle rank 58..and no matter what i do....the grinding and such...i die...over...and over...and over Dx

I defeated the Gates of Hell when I was at Battle Rank 70, but it only took me two tries to defeat it.

@EGGBURT1234 When you finish a battle (any battle), and it shows to the left if any of your characters have leveled up; well, to the right while it shows that it says 'battle rank'. It still shows it even if no one has leveled. Hope that helps.

i cant beat him. my party looks a bit stronger then urs level wise, but a bit different in composition. i have 1 support group with its hybrid balanced between meele and magic (support as in haste +, etc.) i have a magic group, and a meele group. the magic and meele group can both heal. but its like.. once i get to hellgate i have all groups capped off, got hellgate in a raidlock, and he just explodes a group to death and it all goes down hill. any tips?

my battle rank is at 31-32 if i remember right, will i be able to defeat it or not?, if not please tell me about what rank i need to get it up to
