I stayed in this hotel. This is the best hotel in the World!!! And i mean it. the best. People think ethiopia is poor. Especially when white people say it. Its so annoying when they say that. But like addis, and other places they aint poor. lol. I love ethiopia. I will go there every year. lol

@hollymatterson U R an idiot. The rich people who come from all over to stay in these kind of hotels create jobs for the poor people like for 100s of Ethiopians who are employed at Sheraton Addis. I know even the security guards at Sheraton Addis take home about 4000 birr per month, that's more than most Ministers make in Ethiopia. Ask the security guard if he thinks this hotel has changed his life; then U will find the answer for your IDIOTIC, uninformed rant!

Nice place but pretty pricy if u want to stay for a night - it costs i think $300/night, minimum.

@lakehora2009 Looks like someone hasn't been outside of their neighborhood in Bole in a while. People indeed make less than a dollar a day and they live in primitive conditions. Some people in the country side only make 60 birr a month. 6.4 million people face starvation and in 2010. And the Eurotrash Ethiopian Diaspora is shameful for building such a monstrosity of a hotel The average income of an Ethiopian currently is $390 a year. Take a ride in the countryside and see how the majority live.
