Parked on I-75 at Kentucky-Tennessee border during snowstorm

A snowstorm hit as we were in Kentucky driving to Tennessee on Dec. 18, 2009. It really messed things up down there, as the locals aren't used to driving in snowy conditions. As we got within a few hundred yards of the Tennessee border on I-75, we came to a stop. We were pretty much parked on I-75 for more than an hour before taking a detour on 25W through the mountains, which became an adventure in itself.
